Phon Tech has acquired the certificate of Recycled Claim Standard (RCS)

Phon Tech is proud to announce that we have acquired the certificate of Recycled Claim Standard (RCS)
 
Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) is an international, voluntary, full-product certification standard that verifies recycled content in products and also implements requirements along the chain of custody, including the traceability of recycled material and the quality control of the recycled product.
 
It is designed to boost the use of recycled materials. Phon Tech, as a leading manufacturer of TPE compounds in Taiwan, is committed to reducing the use of virgin material for certain applications in order to deal with the ongoing issues of plastic waste ending up in landfills or oceans.
 
By implementing a systematic management of the recycled content, no matter whether it is post-consumer or pre-consumer recycled, we can ensure the source of the raw materials used is genuine. Phon Tech can also monitor the input of the recycled material and make sure the products conform with the standards.
 
Our next target is to get the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), an advanced version of RCS. We expect to get the certificate in the first quarter of 2024.
